It is time to start season 2021 of a new venture in footy tipping - the FMIplay-NRL tipping competition.
As you would have seen in the 'about' page, you are to tip NRL game winning margins, and your 5 selections are to go head to head against an opponent. The correct tip nearest the pin gets the points and per game and the player with the most points gets the win.
This project extends on from the FMIplay-AFL system that has been running for the best part of a decade, though it is tweaked a touch for the NRL. Basically, the bonus points only apply if your score is with a +/-2 pt window of the actual score, not +/-3 (an allowance applied as the NRL scores are generally lower than AFL scores)
So we kick off out first season with 10 players as listed here, all in one division, and all to play each other twice for an 18 week season. As previously, we wont be playing Thursday night games. Also there are some weeks where there wont be 5 games a week (NRL rounds 13 and 17), so those are factored in to be skipped.

Round 1 will start very soon and that blog page will be posted next week. Also a tipping entry form will be linkind in that page, plas the same form will be emailed to you. All you need to do is add in your twitter @name and then tip the game winning margins, with a home win as a positive number and an away team win as a negative number.
So if in a Storm v Sea Eagles game you think Melbourne will win by 8 points, you enter '8'.
If you think that Manly will win in a close one, then you can enter '-2'.
Easy.
We will get cracking on the debut season NEXT WEEK!
Its the last week of the year for the first FMIplay NRL season. an we have our Grand Final pair and games to tip. No link to tips as they...
